Biker Wallets - How The Protect Your Belongings
One of the things that bikers worry about when they hop on their motorcycles is whether or not their wallets are in a safe place. One thing that they can do to be certain that their wallets are safe is to purchase biker wallets.
How do wallets keep your cash and other personal items safe? Here is how:
Biker wallets are made with tough leather that is durable and long lasting. Not only that, but they are built to keep your items tucked away inside thanks to thick leather flaps that essentially keep items locked inside, much like the lid of a Tupperware dish, or the cover on a garbage can. In many cases, biker wallets will also have metal snaps that keep items locked in place.
You can also purchase biker wallets that have chains attached to them that can be hooked to your belt, the loop on your pant, or anywhere on your jacket or luggage. These types of wallets are often referred to as chain wallets. This is perhaps one of the best ways to keep your wallet secure because you never know when it could fall out while riding.
Biker wallets are available in a number of different styles. Two of the most popular types are the 3 inch tri-fold and the 6 inch accordion style. Both are equipped with multiple pockets and plenty of room for picture IDs, credit cards, and other items.
Wallets don't have to be stored in your pants pocket while you're riding. In fact, it is often better that you don't store them in your pants pocket simply because they can easily be pushed out when you sit down on the motorcycle seat. Instead, consider placing them in a luggage pocket, saddlebag, tool bag, or any other location that doesn't involve being on you. This doesn't mean that you should leave them unattended, however. Take your wallet with you when you leave the bike.
