Help With My Art Project?
so my art project was inspired by 'everybody's fool' by evanescence. like theres this girl and on the outside shes perfect and beattiful but on the inside shes totally depressed and like hates herself. so im drawing a purse (cz like whats more personal than a womans purse? lol) and its open and all her stuff has spilled out and so far ive come up with
mirrors
pictures of herself with friends and boyfriend
makeup
cigarettes
lighter
meds
wadded up tissue
nail polish/nail file
and other purse-y items like ipod wallet and keys
so what else should i put in there to make it obvious that shes really depressed?
i was thinking at first of maybe putting in a black journal like a diary or something? but im not sure lol

-maybe if these pictures of her self are drawn on? where shes drawn on it, pointing out all her 'bad points'??
-and have the ipod playing a sad song? (broken screen?)
-u could try putting 1 of the mirrors smashed or broken where she's not liked what shes seen and thrown it to the floor?
-the idea of the diary is good....maybe put an entry on it??
-You could try putting in a magazine, where she has edited it and drawn on the modals...pointing out parts of them that she wants. (marker pen shes used to draw in this?)
-The purse it's self could be designer but covered in mud and is tarnished.
-( are you drawing the woman?? If so you could try her as stressed..pulling at her hair? smudged make up, shes tried to wipe off with the wadded up tissue now coming out of her purse? )
