Will a magnetic money clip damage my gift/credit cards?
My wallet has a relatively large magnet used as a money clip. I don't want to damage my gift cards or credit cards. Would I be able to use it?
They sure will, I have carried a magnetic money clip for several years and have ruined several credit cards and drivers licenses.
It's really not a problem all the merchants have to do is enter the card number manually and it will still go through, but it sure upsets the cops when they swipe your license and nothing comes up.
