what's the best way to clean an antique suitcase made of leather?
Circa 1920's similar to the ones you will find displayed at Ellis Island in New York. The frame is wood and the cover looks like thin animal skin.
Try saddle soap or boot oil, they're the easiest to find.
There's also something out there called Care-4 that works great and keeps your leather looking like new. I get it at a store called TSC-Tractor Supply Company. If they have one in your town, check it out, you won't be disappointed.
