Career ideas in a small town (less than 10K people)? With a BA in interior design & 4 yrs. exp. in B2B sales.?
I moved to a very small vacation town (for my husband's job) and am having a difficult time finding a career-minded position. I have experience in Interior Design, Outside sales and some administrative. I am finding that most of the jobs in this area are seasonal, hospitality/food service or secretarial. I am just wondering if anyone had an idea of where to look for jobs in my field(s) of experience or any ideas of something I could do that may be gratifying for me in a smaller town. Just to be said, I do like being here (slower, more casual pace of life) but feel like my "career" or lack there of, is the only thing that is missing. Thanks.
